1. Who we are
Lemon Kite Studio is a sole proprietorship in Bangladesh. We make Android apps and the websites that support them, and we are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@lemonkitestudio.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to all our apps, websites and services. Each live app has its own page with what that app does, starting with PDF Reader privacy. Where an app’s page is more specific, it applies to that app. The rules for using our services are in the Terms of Service and the Terms of Use, and the Data Deletion Policy explains how to delete your data.
3. How we work
Our apps work without an account, and your data stays on your phone by default. Data reaches us only when you use something that needs it. We collect as little as we can, we show no ads, and we never sell your data.
4. What we collect
What we hold depends on how you use our services:
- Account details: your email address and sign-in details, if you make an account.
- Purchases: what you bought and when, so your purchase keeps working. Google Play handles your payment, and we never see your card details.
- Device details: device model, Android version, app version and an identifier we create, so purchases and limits work on the right phone. Apps may also use Google Play’s integrity checks to confirm that the app and device are genuine.
- Content you choose to send: content needed for a feature you ask for, and nothing else.
- Support messages: what you send us, and any files you attach.
- Usage and crash reports: simple events and technical details, as section 5 explains.
- Website requests: the technical details any website receives, such as your IP address.
An account needs an email address, and purchases need the details that keep them working. Everything else is optional.
We do not collect your advertising ID or your contacts. An app’s own page says if a feature needs anything more, and that feature is your choice.
5. Usage and crash reports
Our apps use Google Firebase for simple usage events, such as a feature being used, and for crash reports. These are sent with a random app ID that isn’t linked to your account, with advertising ID collection off, and with no file contents. You can turn them off in the app’s settings.
6. Why we use your data
We use your data only to:
- Run the apps and the features you ask for
- Keep your purchases working
- Fix bugs and improve our apps
- Answer your support messages
- Prevent fraud and abuse, and keep our services secure
- Meet our legal duties
If you are in the EU, the UK or a place with similar law, we rely on one of these legal bases: the contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in running and protecting our services, or a legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
We use automated checks to prevent fraud and abuse, and a person reviews serious decisions on request.
7. AI features
If an app offers an AI feature and you ask for it, the text needed for the result is sent to an AI service provider to make it. We do not use it to train AI, and we do not keep it after the result is made, unless the feature says otherwise. AI features are always your choice.
8. Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We use service providers who act for us and receive only what their job needs:
- Google Play: app delivery and payments
- Google Firebase: usage events, crash reports and push messages
- Google Drive: only where you choose it for your own backup, in your own account
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: running our websites and services, and storing data securely
- Email delivery providers: sending and receiving email
- AI service providers: making the results you ask for
We may share data if the law requires it, or to protect our users.
9. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it. To decide how long that is, we look at what the data is for, whether you still use the service, what the law requires, and whether we need it for security, fraud prevention or a dispute.
Account data stays until you delete your account. After that, we keep only limited records that we must keep, such as for tax, refunds, security and fraud prevention. Data sent for a single request is deleted once it’s done. An app’s own page gives more detail for that app.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may be outside your country. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
11. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, send you a copy or delete it. Write to support@lemonkitestudio.com from the address on your account. We may need to confirm it’s you, it costs nothing, and we reply within 30 days.
EU and UK: you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your data protection authority.
California and other US states: you can ask to know, delete and correct your personal information, and appeal a decision by writing to us. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
Elsewhere: if your local law gives you other rights, tell us and we will follow it.
12. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and sensitive data on our servers is encrypted at rest. Access is limited, logged and checked. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.
13. Children
Our apps and services are for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.
14. Websites and cookies
This website sets no cookies and has no ads. Our hosting provider handles requests to serve and protect the site, and may count visits with cookieless analytics. If you choose a light or dark theme, your choice is stored in your browser and is never sent to us.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or on this page, and update the date at the top.
